Upon graduation from Qingdao Medical University of China in 1982., Prof. Xu completed thesis in which he broke the traditional constrain of keeping the wound dry to form scars and scientifically established a fire-new burn physiological theory and method, which is the invention of Moist Exposed Burn Therapy / Moist Exposed Burn Ointment (MEBT/MEBO).
